Fashion show, good music at Riverstone Mall opening

MBABANE – The much anticipated opening of the Riverstone Mall in Manzini will finally take place tomorrow.

The mall consists of a number of outlets, namely Edgars, Jet, CNA, Pick n Pay, Swazi MTN, Affordable Car hire, Samsung and other Designer shops.

It will also have restaurants and coffee shops. These include a pizza outlet named Fattis, Greans Coffee shop, Fish and Chips, Tee’s restaurant, which is already operating in Manzini and a Chinese Restaurant. Wimpy will open at a later stage.

Theo Hlophe from the Riverstone Mall confirmed this in an interview.

"We are finally having the opening of the much awaited Riverstone mall. We invite the public at large to come and have a shopping experience. There are a number of shops and restaurants, one that we are particularly excited about is wimpy which will open at a later stage." he said.

Different shops will have special opening events, one in particular is Edgars.

Thato Pekeche from Edcon, South Africa, said they will be having festivities on Wednesday, and people should come and celebrate the opening of the third Edgars outlet in the country.

"We are launching our store this Wednesday. Construction is complete and we are good to go. We are now inviting the public at large, to come and join in on the festivities for there will be great give aways and one lucky customer will receive a makeover." she said.

The store is about 300 Square metres and will house well known brands such as Jeep, Sissy Boy, Levis, among many others.

The launch will start at 9am and entails a fashion show, music and cutting of the ribbon.
