Michael's memory superbly relived

EZULWINI – One could have sworn that the late ‘king of pop’ music, Michael Jackson had come back to life when impersonator Kenny Wizz gave a splendid performance at the Royal Swaziland Convention Centre.
The show dubbed ‘Michael Jackson, history repeats itself, this is it’ tour, took place on Friday night and kick started at exactly 8pm with Wizz stepping onto stage while singing the track titled ‘Don’t really care about us’.
This was indeed the moment the crowd had been waiting for, as they were all heard screaming at the top of their voices. Clad in gold metallic pants, white shirt and black leather jacket one could tell that Wizz was about to give a high powered performance. Giving a short introduction just before his next track Wizz gave the crowd leeway to having a good time,
Jovial
"Please feel free to dance, scream, clap, and sing because this is my first time in Swaziland and I am here to have fun. I want to ask all of you to work with me and let’s together have a good time," he said.
A good time it was indeed as Wizz gave a two and a half-hour long performance that incorporated some of Michaels hit songs, which had the crowd in a jovial mood and when the show ended everyone was heard begging for more. Shirley Mark from Ezulwini said she was a bit skeptical about coming to the show because she believed that there could only be one Michael Jackson and this could just be a disappointment,
"I am a huge Michael Jackson fan so I was afraid that Wizz might not really be what it is that I was hoping for him to be. I must say that had I stayed at home I would have truly regretted it because this was the best show by far. I had a lot of fun singing along to every track and I really felt like I was at a Michael Jackson concert. He was great and I will be coming to Saturday’s show as well because I had a ball and Wizz is a great performer and is indeed the best impersonator in the world," she said.
When interviewed on his performance and what he thought of the Swazi crowd, Wizz said he was amazed at the turn up as he was not expecting it.
"I was not expecting the response that I got tonight because I had this impression that people would not know me. The crowd was just amazing and I would definitely come back to Swaziland it’s just that I am a bit busy for now. Swazi’s are awesome and I am truly grateful to all those who took time to come out," he said.
Wizz was joined by a band of musicians, dancers, authentic costumes and a production design that mimicked the stages of the late Michael Jackson. He has been branded the world’s best impersonator and hails from the US, Las Vegas. He is one of Michael Jackson’s biggest fans and wants to ensure that just because the King of Pop is no longer with us, it does not mean that you cannot see him live in concert.
