MBABANE – Pastor Justice Dlamini has warned His Majesty King Mswati III to be careful as there are people plotting his downfall.

Dlamini in a wide ranging interview on Thursday said he feels so sad that the actions of the current legislature and government are making His Majesty unpopular with his people.

The pastor said at the moment the King is not well advised adding that this is the time for those around the King to make him the symbol of hope to the people of Swaziland.

"Let them tell him the truth about the situation out there because it is only the truth that will set this country free," said Pastor Justice.

He said this was because everyone looks to the King for quick action when things go wrong as it is happening now.

The pastor said it was about time that the King be given good advice to be protected from the insults that people outside of this country level at him.

He said God had revealed to him that He has always had good plans for the country provided the King abides by Biblical principles and commands. If the country can uphold justice and righteousness, God can reverse its misfortunes, because the Bible says righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34)

He said Swaziland was the only country in a deep financial crisis when compared to some countries in the region. The pastor made an example of countries like Lesotho, Namibia and Mozambique who are experiencing economic stability inspite of the global economic crisis.

This shows that there is so much that the country is not doing right.    "Our King needs good advice when it comes to issues of the state. He needs to always surround himself with God-fearing men of integrity who will protect him by giving him good advice and tell him the truth even when it hurts.

"The Bible says when righteous men surround the King, his throne remains firmly established but the wicked bring his throne down. He needs the hand of God for him to lead the country to a bright future," he said.

‘Fired judge, justice minister being criminalised’

MBABANE – Pastor Justice Dlamini of the Worship Centre has accused the country’s leadership of treating suspended Minister of Justice, David Matse and fired High Court Judge Thomas Masuku as criminals yet these men are reputable Christian professionals.

In a wide raging interview, the famous pastor said the victimi-sation of Pastor Matse and Judge Masuku is an attack on the entire Christian fraternity of Swaziland because they are part of the body of Christ.

He said what is happening is definitely tempting the Christians of Swaziland to start praying against the country’s leadership instead of praying for it.

"It is a known fact that when God’s children are troubled, they immediately and naturally cry to God for help and the only help they cry for is judgment and vindication," he said.

The outspoken Pastor Justice in an interview on Thursday wondered why it is taking so long for the head of government to come out and state clearly why such harsh decisions have been taken against these respectable professionals.

Suspension

Addressing Matse’s suspension he said Matse deserved to be respected more especially as he had never applied for the job of being minister. He said at the time of his appointment Matse was busy with God’s work and he does not deserve the kind of treatment he is currently getting from the coun-try’s authorities.

Pastor Justice said even if the two men committed any wrong in the execution of their duties, they were not supposed to be treated the way they are treated because they never committed any crime.

"As children of God we will find it difficult to pray for the restoration of the country’s economy when such is happening to God’s children. The developments involving Matse and Masuku may force us to ask God to fight for His children who are unjustly treated, as the Bible says in Psalm 106:6.

"The verse reads that the Lord executes judgment and Righteousness for all who are oppressed.

"In 2 Thessalonians 1:6 the Bible says God will repay with affliction and tribulation those who afflict His children. Our country cannot afford to lose God’s favour at this particular point and time for reasons known by every Swazi.

For the country to come out of the economic doldrums, it needs the hand of God. As far as I am concerned nothing will work to the good of the country as long as such things are happening," he said.

Wrath

Pastor Justice said these events are inviting God’s wrath adding that those in leadership must avoid doing things that will cause Christians to be angry because they are children of the God who controls the breath of every living person.

He said Matse is a God fearing, respectable, principled and highly experienced legal guru who is well versed with the country’s legal configurations more so because he was the incumbent Minister of Justice when our Monarchy ascended to the Throne.

"He therefore does not deserve to be treated like an apprentice lawyer. As Pastor Justice I am saying the country must be dedicating its energies in doing what is right before God in order to secure His mercy for the many economic, political and social trou-bles currently engulfing it.

"What is happening to the two gentlemen is not doing the country any good," said the pastor not holding back

‘Some people untouchable’

MBABANE – Pastor Justice Dlamini has warned that as Christians they may be tempted to pray for the downfall of the system.

He said Swaziland has become the laughing stock of the international community because of the way things are done in the country.

Dlamini said those who travel outside this country for business or leisure know that it is now an embarrassment for one to declare that he or she is from Swaziland because as soon they say so, they are interrogated on the happenings in the country.

"Government needs to realise that God is not happy with what they are doing to Minister David Matse and Judge Thomas Masuku," he said.

Pastor Justice alleges that it looks like the political system of the country delights in destroying the characters and professional reputations of those it hires. He said time after time men and women of good reputation, who strive for the welfare of the country are criminalised.

He said what is surprising and truly disturbing is the fact that the people who have done well publicised wrongs remain untouchable and comfortable in their positions while those with good professional reputations are treated as thugs.

He made an example of the Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC) Managing Director, Elijah Zwane and his Board who are now portrayed as criminals in the public eye, yet according to him these are reputable professionals who are trying their best in applying their brains in helping the ailing parastatal to survive and save the many jobs which are desperately needed.

Pastor Justice is known for speaking his mind. He has spoken at length about some of the country’s rituals like Incwala. The pastor believes the deliverance of  the country from its economic, political and social ills can only come from God and therefore it is extremely important that the country’s authorities should uphold righteousness and justice in all their dealings in order to continuously secure God’s mercy and intervention.
