Colleagues admire Pastor Justice

MBABANE – Pastor Justice Dlamini has been described as a fearless preacher who never compromises the truth.

Reverend David Chaliyumba said Pastor Justice says things some people are afraid to say.

Speaking at the 10th Anniversary celebration of Worship Centre, Rev. Chaliyumba said his colleague was a good and principled man who stood by what he believed in.

Passing a congratulatory message to him and his wife Pastor Zandile, the Christian Life Centre pastor said Worship Centre was blessed to have a voice in Pastor Justice.

"When this man speaks, you see results," said Chaliyumba to loud applause.

Speaking at the same formal event, Bishop Nash Shongwe said Pastor Justice was a man of integrity and character who preached what he lived.

"Every door he knocks on will definitely open because he gets what he wants. He speaks softly and convincingly. I almost did not come here because I was busy somewhere but he convinced me to attend and told me that I would stay for 30 minutes and leave but look, I have been here for three hours now," Bishop Shongwe said.

He said it was apparent that Pastor Justice’s stood by him because it was sometimes difficult to understand the way the Worship Centre founder did things.

He urged the pastor’s wife to continue standing by him because he had big plans. "This man I am talking about can pray for long hours without a break. I used to open my ears and look around when we were praying and would find him praying earnestly without ceasing," he said.

Apostle Charles Samunenge said there was a need for voices that could speak to the nation and Pastor Justice’s voice was one of those needed. He said Worship Centre was a pacesetter, thanking its founder for his tenacity and focus on the work of God.

"I know him to be somebody who implements what he believes in. In terms of truth and values, we need pastors like Justice to stand up for goodness and right living. We appreciate you Pastor Justice. It has been 10 years of impact," he said.

He thanked the Worship Centre family for standing by its leader in times of happiness and difficulties.

Bishop Dalton Adams from World Harvest Dome in South Africa said Pastor Justice worked very hard for the ministry, saying his spirit of commitment and vision should be transferred to others.

"There’s no substitute for hard work," he said. He said mockery and detractions should not destroy a leader’s vision. He turned to pastors in Swaziland, saying they should not run after material things like houses and cars but should seek bles-sings from God that weighed above material things.

He then presented Pastor Justice with a gold necklace as a gift.

Pastor Sam Fidelis, Minister Hlobisile Ndlovu’s husband said the biggest challenge facing Africa was leadership.

He said people with no real and relevant messages were given a platform to speak because they had money. He said poor people with no money were not given the platform to speak despite the fact that they had a real and relevant message.

He said a poor man was despised. Pastor Fidelis said the church had real solutions to the economic problems being encountered by nations across the world, including Swaziland. He said the time had come for the church to start establishing their own banks, companies, towns, cities and buildings.

Pastor Fidelis said he wore a watch worth E200 000, which he was not prepared to trade it for anything. He did not want to comment on his watch after we asked for an interview.

"I cannot comment any further about my watch," he said.

Pastor Justice said his utterances sometimes made him controversial, saying his four children stood by him despite the fact that their peers at school would tell them to advise him to shut up. He said his wife made him strong despite the accusations and criticism he sometimes received.

Present at the function were Senator David Matse, the former minister of justice, Sibongile Mdluli, the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank and Zephaniah Nkambule, the Mayor of Mbabane and Dr. David Molapo, a successful businessman and a preacher in South Africa, who is normally asked to sensitise the African National Congress (ANC) executive about leadership.

MP Frans Dlamini, Worship Centre Praise and Worship Choir, Vessels of Glory and Philasande Wasande Poetry Group entertained the audience.

The event was colourful and poems were recited in honour of the achievement of Worship Centre. A documentary outlining the history of Worship Centre was viewed by the audience.
