Adultery at Pastor Justice's church
MBABANE – Nelisiwe Mabuza, Managing Director of African Alli-
ance is allegedly in a relationship with a married man, the husband of one of her church mates.
Mabuza, who is also chairperson of the Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC) board of directors, is understood to have a child with businessman Sifiso Dlamini.
The child is said to be under two years old.
Dlamini is said to have married Hleli Dlamini (nee Gininidza) in 2001 and the marriage still subsists.
Mabuza and Ginindza go to Pastor Justice Dlamini’s Worship Centre at Eveni in Mbabane.
It has been established that Mabuza’s relationship with Dlamini is now cause for concern at Worship Centre because she usually comes to church with the child believed to have been fathered by sifiso Dlamini, the husband of a fellow member.
summoned
The Times SUNDAY can reveal that Pastor Justice has summoned Mabuza and advised her to denounce the relationship and reconcile with her church mate, the wife of the man she allegedly dated.
It has been established that she was asked to denounce the relationship or face expulsion from Worship Centre.
However, informants said Mabuza told the pastor that it was difficult to end the relationship because it had resulted in the birth of a child. Therefore, there would always be communication between her and Dlamini over the maintenance of the child.
No action has been taken against her yet.
Church members assumed she came to the church to spite her rival but the African Alliance boss is said to have argued before the pastor that she had joined the church first, around 2008, and Ginindza had come later.
Ginindza is a former member of the Evangelical Church in Mbabane, which solemnised their marriage in 2001.
This newspaper is in possession of an ‘anonymous’ letter of complaint, which was submitted to Pastor Justice’s office.
The pastor received the letter on December 2, 2011.
Sources close to the pastor said he would have acted swiftly but was in and out of the country last week, preaching in South Africa and simultaneously preparing for his church’s 10th Anniversary commemorated this weekend.
The letter accused Mabuza of coming to the church where her rival worship-ped.
In the letter, she has been accused of having a relationship with a person who was still contracted to someone in terms of the Marriage Act.
She is being urged in the letter to respect the marriage, particularly because Dlamini was still living with his wife in Ezulwini.
In an interview, Pastor Justice said he was aware of the matter.
meetings
He said he had held several meetings with Mabuza and Ginindza but had not yet met the man because he was not a member of his church.
"I have spoken to them several times because they are members of the church I lead. Nelisiwe is aware of my stand here. She knows that I am against this relationship. In fact, she knows that I am working hard, trying to resolve this matter. She is a public figure, she leads a public corporation. Therefore, she is expected to be exemplary. Moreover, she comes to a church that is under the leadership of an advocate of righteousness and I can’t tolerate anything that will trigger God’s wrath in the church I lead," said Pastor Justice.
The pastor said he would not have kept quiet or rather blessed Mabuza’s relationship with a married man because he (pastor) was a government licenced marriage officer, well versed with the dictates of the Marriage Act.
Mabuza, when contacted for comment, first asked to be sent questions this newspaper wanted her to respond to because she was out of the country. That was after she had been informed that the story we were pursuing touched on her personal life and character.
Sifiso Dlamini, the businessman, first wanted proof that he was a married man.
Told that there was proof that he married Hleli in 2001, he then said he would not comment on the matter because he was a private person, not a public figure.
He said he would not comment any further and our conversation should be treated as if we never talked about the issue.
"I treat this conversation as nothing. Between me and you, we have never spoken about the issue and I have no comment on it," he said.
divided
Dlamini had been told how his alleged affair had affected the spiritual relationship between Nelisiwe Mabuza and his wife, and divided the church where they congregated.
Hleli said she would not comment on the matter because it was private.
It transpired during the interview that she still loved her husband and wanted to remain married to him.
Meanwhile, the Times SUNDAY is in possession of a letter of distress, allegedly written by Ginindza’s family.
It calls for help from people like Reverend Johannes Mazibuko, Nicholas Nyawo and the Times SUNDAY.
