Khayalethu, Thabile divorce

MBABANE - Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors singers Khayalethu Elkas Masuku and Thabile Octavia Masuku (Mdluli) have finally divorced.
The final decree cancelling the marriage between the two was issued by Manzini Magistrate Dumisani R. Mazibuko. In the court order it is stated that a final decree is hereby issued and the deed of settlement entered into between the two parties is hereby made an order of the court.
In the court papers it is stated that the two were married in community of property on April 2, 2006 in Mbabane and they have one minor child, a boy born on June 20, 2005.
In the deed of settlement it is stated that Thabile instituted divorce proceedings against her husband.
The parties have reached an agreement on the terms and conditions which shall govern the dissolution of their marriage and wish to record such agreement in writing. The two have agreed that they would have joint custody of the child and that Masuku shall have access to the said minor child at all reasonable times. They also agreed that Masuku would contribute a sum of E500 per month towards the maintenance of the child. It is stated that the maintenance shall escalate at the rate of 10 per cent per annum and is expected to be payable on each succeeding month until the child retains majority and / or is self supporting.
It was also agreed that Masuku shall contribute towards the schooling expenses of the minor child. The two would equally be responsible for clothing and uniform of the minor child, daily upkeep expenses involved in the upkeep of the minor child and the medical expenses of the minor child.
In the agreement it is stated that none of the parties shall take the minor out of the borders of Swaziland without the consent and permission of the other. Representing Khayalethu were lawyers from SP Mamba while appearing for Thabile was Machawe Sithole from Peter Dunseith Attorneys in Mbabane.

Divorce is on a rampage. And couples always find ''reasonable grounds'' as to why they divorce. But it's a shame when the very people you would expect to show the world God's kind of Love through marriage, just fail. Divorce is wrong and cannot be justified in any way. . It's a shame for the body of Christ and I don't want to take people who divorce as examples of what a Godly marriage is like. It's not the kind of marriage God wants for us.
