Inkhosikati's swagger wows London
MANZINI - An international fashion magazine and the British press have given Inkhosikati LaMbikiza rave reviews for her dress sense during the recent visit to the United Kingdom.
The online magazine, Coco Preze, is described as a site where celebrity meets fashion.
In an article it wrote; Inkhosikati LaMbikiza, one of the first ladies of land-locked African nation Swaziland, graced Queen Elizabeth II’s Armed Forces Parade and Muster at Home Park in Windsor on Saturday as she was looking fierce!
For the royal occasion, King Mswati III’s wife was rockin’ a minty green, fluttery-flowered suit with matching head-piece like it was nobody’s business."
Another article, the Daily Mail, one of the United Kingdom’s respected publications, could not miss the Inkhosikati’s stunning shoes which it described as ‘rather eye-catching pair of Pearly Queen-style shoes with feathery pom-poms on the toes and heels.’
The shoes were trimmed with jewels, sequins and feathers. She also wore a black and white spotted dress with feathery trimmings and it matched perfectly with her shoes and a grey clutch bag.
Meanwhile, His Majesty the King returned from London yesterday where he had attended Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.
The King returned at around midday, and said the event was attended by representatives of a number of African states and countries in the Middle East who came to join the British people in their celebrations.
His Majesty returned in the company of Inkhosikati LaMbikiza, and other dignitaries. He said the delegation was welcomed by the British people.
"When we arrived, the British were happy and the celebrations went well. Celebrations like the Diamond Jubilee have a lot of history attached to them. For instance, during King Sobhuza II’s time, the British visited us when we hosted our own gelebrations," said His Majesty.
The King added that the delegation also met Swazis residing in the UK.
"We had the chance to meet Swazis who stay in the United Kingdom and they were excited to meet us, and they passed their greetings. We were happy also to meet our own people in the UK," said His Majesty.

  Kirsh pays tribute to SD
MANZINI - His Majesty King Mswati IIII said businessman Nathan Kirsh paid tribute to the Swazi nation for his business success.
The King said Kirsh invited the delegation to one of his buildings in the United Kingdom to have a look at it.
Kirsh had his initial business successes in Swaziland, the Inhlanyelo Fund being one of his business initiatives which seeks to finance start-up businesses.
"While we were in the United Kingdom we had the opportunity to meet one of our own business people, whose success has grown over the years.
"We met Natie Kirsh who invited us to have a look at one of his buildings which is in the United Kingdom where he has established himself as a successful businessman in that country and the world over," said the King.
"He said he had achieved the level of success that he had because he had worked hand in hand with the Swazi nation.
"He paid tribute to the Swazi nation, and said it was because of this nation that he was successful," said His Majesty.

To walk around claiming swag when this is the nation's money. What a shame.
