ESWATINI GEARS UP FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK
MBABANE - Companies operating in the kingdom have been invited to join the noble initiative of building a customer centric country.
The Institute of Research Management and Development (IRDM) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade Industry and Commerce, Federation of Eswatini Business Community (FESBC), Business Eswatini previously known as FSE & CC and the Chartered Institute of Customer Management (CICM) champions and advocate for Service Excellence in the kingdom in line with His Majesty King Mswati’s Vision 2022. The national organising committee has lined up events for the customer service week and campaigns for a customer centric Kingdom of Eswatini.
Launch
IRDM Executive Director Oliver Museka announced that this year would see the customer service week launch on September 28, 2018 with a customer service march from the Coronation Park to the new mall. He encouraged organisations to wear branded T- Shirts for brand visibility and explained that the march would end with an address by Principal Secretary (PS) for the Ministry of Trade Commerce and Industry Siboniso Nkambule at the new mall. He stated that on the same day, they would host a customer service expo which would be a one day exhibition to award companies any opportunity to interact, share and celebrate with members of the public.
Further, Museka said during the customer service week October (1-5) companies would be encouraged to continue with the customer service week spirit at their workplaces.On October 10 and 11, executive, senior managers, customer service managers, marketing managers social media officers and all business people with customers at heart would converge for a customer service conference.
