NHLANGANO – The doors to the new Nhlangano Pick n Pay Supermarket are only a day away from opening.

The prominent retail outlet, which will bring about 60 new jobs and more choice for the local community, will open at the newly-extended Nhlangano Mall, on the corner of Sililo Avenue and Fifth Street, tomorrow morning.
The arrival of Pick n Pay is expected to add to the shopping experience offered by other supermarkets such as Shoprite and Boxer in the fast-developing town.

Management explained they have long been looking for sites around Nhlangano, before eventually setting up shop at the new location.
The unexpected exit of Nhlangano Spar prompted the owners of the giant supermarket to jump to the opportunity.
The new development makes Pick n Pay the new anchor tenants of the new-look Nhlangano Mall, and they will be trading alongside other famous stores, including clothing outlets such as Pep and Dunns, among others.

Promises

This new shop will open just in time for the seasonal Christmas shopping rush, which promises to work well in favour of the giant supermarket, which will be unveiling its fifth outlet in the country.
Shop Manager Cedric Dlamini revealed that tomorrow their doors will be opened at 7am, with lots of bargains in store for customers.
He laid down the gauntlet on rivals by promising better and quality service, with a fair range in pricing.

Pick’n Pay is considered popular for its cleanliness and insistence on fresh produce.
“We strive on cleanliness and very good customer care, which is further complemented by our quality products. There is quite a lot on offer,” explained the manager, Dlamini.
Besides the usual suspects of groceries that one would usually find in a supermarket, Pick’n Pay prides itself with its high quality meat butchery, freshly baked items, food, fruit and fresh produce departments.

Expansion

Customers should also expect good food, as the establishment’s in-house chefs will be able to cook a variety of dishes that consumers can choose from.
Manager Dlamini explained that Pick n Pay was a growth-oriented supermarket, which is continually assessing expansion possibilities even in other areas across the country.
“We put the communities we serve first, and we are really happy to be a part of the community here in Nhlangano,” he said.
