Meanwhile, Usuthu Promotion League Chairman Sipho Mamba, commended the company, describing it as the best partner for their football development. “The season was a resounding success, despite the registration challenges faced by the teams. There was only one casualty of the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) Connect registration system in Zamalek,” he said. Mamba further emphasised the need for administration training for teams’ management, coaching courses and refereeing clinics organised by the Manzini Region Football Association (MRFA). “We are also looking forward to the improvement of our infrastructure, which includes goal posts and sporting fields. The Bhunya open ground and stadium surfaces need some renovations. LaMgabhi goal posts need to be extended by one metre.
The dinner was also attended by teams that contested in the E20 000 under-15 and under-13 leagues. These received team and individual awards in cash and kind. Nine teams registered for the under-15, while six formed the under-13 league. Phantom prevailed, followed by Macembe in the Under-15.
