ESWATINIBANK’S SHARESHA SCOOPS INTERNATIONAL AWARD

MBABANE – EswatiniBank has been awarded the ‘Most Innovative Digital Wallet’ for its groundbreaking digital wallet solution, ShareSha.

The bank bagged the award at IBSi Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2024, meant to celebrate excellence and transformative achievements in banking and financial technology, by honouring banks, financial institutions and technology providers who have driven innovation and impact through advanced technology implementations and the adoption of emerging technologies.

This accolade recognises the bank’s commitment to innovation and excellence in enhancing its customers’ digital banking experience. The bank’s digital wallet, launched in August, 2023, has transformed the way the bank’s customers manage their finances, seamless integration with multiple financial services, robust security features and user-friendly functionalities that cater to the modern, mobile-focused consumer. Furthermore, ShareSha has been a key driver in the bank’s ongoing commitment to financial inclusion in Eswatini.

ShareSha banking simply put brings the bank closer to the people, eliminating costs of travelling for banking services (ATMs or branches). It also comes with many cutting-edge features such as scan-to-pay, prepaid card loading and many other offerings such as bill payments, airtime and data top-ups.
