PWC SECURES E2.3M ESWATINI RAILWAYS EXTERNAL AUDIT CONTRACT

MBABANE – Eswatini Railways (ESR) has announced its intention to award a tender worth E2 315 835, inclusive of VAT, to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for the provision of external audit services. Following a competitive bidding process, PwC emerged as the best-evaluated bidder with a total score of 96 per cent. The tender marks a significant milestone for both organisations, reflecting a commitment to transparency and efficient financial oversight. This announcement follows the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011, which mandates transparency in tender processes. Other bidders have a 10-day window to submit any applications for review, as per sections 45(4), 46, and 47 of the Act.
