KPMG CEO SEHOOLE TO HEADLINE ESIA ETHICS BREAKFAST MEET
MBABANE - The Eswatini Institute of Accountants (ESIA) is set to host an exclusive ethics breakfast Meeting on March 31, 2025, at the Happy Valley Hotel. The meeting will be headlined by Ignatius Sehoole CA(SA), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KPMG Southern Africa and Africa Chairman, a seasoned financial expert with over 25 years of experience in corporate governance and auditing. Sehoole will lead the discussion on “Leading with integrity: How ethical accountants and auditors can transform the profession.”
Sehoole’s career has spanned leadership roles at PwC, MTN, Transnet, and Murray & Roberts. A qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), he holds a BAcc (Hons), BAcc Degree and a Diploma in General Management from Ashridge Management College (UK). His insights into ethical accounting and auditing are particularly relevant given his experience in governance within institutions such as the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), African Bank, National Treasury, Old Mutual and the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA).

He took the helm at KPMG Southern Africa following the firm’s reputational crisis tied to the Gupta scandal and the audit failures linked to VBS Mutual Bank.
