CHANNEL O LOOKING FOR SWAZI PRESENTERS
MBABANE – Aspiring to be a TV presenter in a channel with over two million viewers? Then the Channel O presenter search may be your ticket to the silver screen.
The DStv 24-hour music channel has been running a weekly advertorial, inviting only two countries to participate in the presenter search which will resume on February 15, 2016.
Swaziland and Mozambique are the only two countries that have been exclusively marked to partake in these once in a lifetime opportunity.
According to the advertorial, Channel O is searching for two female presenters between the ages of 21-27 years old, who are well versed on all music genres. The aspiring presenter should have knowledge of not only Southern African music, but also Western, Eastern and Northern Africa.
Speaking more on the presenter search, Channel O Turn Up presenter Siyabonga Ngwekazi encouraged Swazis and Mozambique nationals to log onto the Channel O website and fill in the forms come February 15, 2016.
“Swaziland and Mozambique ladies this is your chance to join the Channel O family, so please load up those pictures and answer those questionnaires and you may be one of the lucky people we call up to Johannesburg for live auditions,” said the energetic presenter.
The Channel O crew is expected to select 20 Swazi females and 20 Mozambique females from the online applications which will open on February 15- March 15, 2016.
Thereafter, each contestant will be required to make their way to South Africa, for live on camera auditions, with ultimately only one presenter selected from each country.
