MANZINI – It was like the doors of heaven opened and rained cash on the Miss Cultural Heritage committee, as Premier Swazi has pumped in a sum of E50 000 in sponsorship.

The sponsorship was unveiled on Wednesday at the Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture offices.
The recruitment for the pageant has already started and the girls are being recruited in all the four regions of the country. The finals of the pageant will be held in October 29.  Through the Lil-Lets wing, Premier Swazi pledged its continued support to the pageant, adding that they were hoping that it would be a success.

“Premier Swazi is very proud to be making a contribution towards the Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture (SNCAC). Our culture and traditions are what makes us a special nation,” said Tahmar Reid, who represented the company.
She noted that Li-Lets was a leading feminine care product range with a global footprint.

“Associating our Lil-Lets brand with Miss Cultural Heritage events shows that we do not have to let go of our cultural roots and traditions when we live in a modern and technologically advanced world,” she said. She also mentioned that it was not the first time for the company to sponsor the event, adding that they were hoping it would be a success.

“Even though we made a contribution last year, we hope that by this year’s involvement, we can grow our contribution not only to the promotion of SNCAC projects but also to other community projects in support of the nation,” she said.
Stanley Dlamini, SNCAC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said they were excited to partner with Premier Swazi and they are hoping that their relationship would be a lasting one.
