SA COMEDY QUEENS CELESTE, NINA READY FOR SD

MBABANE – Isibaya actress, comedian Celeste Ntuli and Nina Hastie known for her bald head and funny comics are headed to the country this October.


The South African comedians will be performing alongside local comedians Mdura, Emcee the Comedian, Mandy Ginindza, Smallz and the music will be from Sands and DJ MBO.


Mduduzi Magagula of Southern Corp (the brains behind the comedy show) assured fans that this will be a comedy night full of laughter and fun.
The event will be held at the Royal Swazi Convention Centre in Ezulwini on October 28. Ticket prices will be E200 for general, E350 for VIP and E450 for VVIP. Tickets will be available from today and they can be accessed by calling 7603 0460.

About Celeste & Nina

Celeste Ntuli is a South African stand-up comedienne and actress best known as one of the Top 10 contestants on the second season of the SABC1 reality competition series, So You Think You’re Funny! in 2009.


She made her acting debut as one of the main cast members of the Mzansi Magic telenovela Isibaya in 2013, where her role was that of Siphokasi Zungu (45), the oldest of Mpiyakhe’s wives.


The exposure she received on the show allowed her to pursue comedy as a fulltime career and she has since performed at many major comedy festivals, as well as on television, radio and film.


On the other hand, Nina Hastie is also a South African comedienne, actress and voice artist best known for guest starring on satirical comedy shows, especially Late Nite News and The Bantu Hour.
She has performed at major theatres around the country such as The State, Wits and Joburg. She has headlined comedy festivals in Tshwane, Soweto, Wits and during Nandos Festival.
