MISS CULTURAL SD READY FOR WORLD STAGE
MANZINI – Miss Cultural Heritage is ready for her big day as the contestants of Miss Cultural Global Pageant are scheduled to tour Cape Town today.
The Miss Cultural Heritage beauty queen Sindiswe Dlamini jetted out yesterday for her first global pageant after she was crowned the fairest of them all last November. The Miss Cultural Global pageant finals will be hosted in Midrand, South Africa on February 18, 2016.
The Swaziland Arts and Culture committee gathered with the Miss Cultural Heritage Pageant 2016/17 anchor sponsor representatives to bid farewell to the queen yesterday morning at the SNCAC offices in Manzini.
Present to represent their companies was George Ngwenya from Let’s go Zanzibar and Tahmar Reid from Premier Milling and Lil-lets, who are both major sponsors for Miss Cultural Heritage.
Pageant Swaziland spokesperson Catrien Potgieter was the first person to wish the queen well.
“Good luck for the global pageant. Always remember to be your own beauty as you represent your country and know that we will absolutely support you all the way especially on Facebook,” said Potgieter.

The beauty queen was also reminded that Swaziland is known as a cultural country which means that it will be easier for her to carry the flag high during the competition. SNCAC Chief Executive Officer Stanley Dlamini added that the beauty has a busy year ahead of her and this pageant is just part of a long list of duties she still has to fulfil.
“We will make sure, that the schedule does not interfere with her schoolwork because education is important,” said the CEO.
He further assured the queen of the full backing and support from SNCAC, telling her to go out there and influence the world stage with Swazi flair and know that the country will be waiting to celebrate her crowning when she returns.
