MBABANE – It is ranked by CNN as the 7th best international festival in the world and BBC ranked it as the top 5 must see festival, and it’s all happening on Swazi soil.

This is the annual MTN Bushfire Festival and this year we celebrate its 11th edition and tickets will be out March 3, 2017.
The world renowned three-day festival is scheduled to take place down the Malkerns Valley at the House on Fire grounds on May 26 -28, and already over 20 000 people from 50 different  countries have purchased their  tickets online.

House on Fire’s Communications Manager Noncedo Dlamini confirmed that physical tickets will go on sale from Friday, March 3, 2017. “Finally, our local fans can purchase their physical tickets and get ready for a spectacular show. We advise all those who wish to attend to buy their tickets as early as possible to avoid the disappointment we usually encountered in the past years when tickets get sold out and people have to turn back at the gates.”

Tickets will be available at the following outlets, MTN service centres in Mbabane, Corporate Place and Manzini, Riverstone Mall, as well as Malandelas Internet Café in Malkerns.

MTN Bushfire ticket sales will commence with early bird discounted tickets and the public is encouraged to make the most of this opportunity and purchase these tickets while stocks last.

The first batch of artists have been unveiled by the MTN Bushfire team and include South Africa’s kwaito legends TKZee, Congolese performer Baloji, the Taureg rebel Bombino  and Belgian/South African newcomer Petite Noir. The rest of the line-up will be unveiled in sections leading up to the main event.
