MTN/SWAMA TO GIVE OVER E100 000 AWARDS CASH PRIZES

MBABANE – Winners of the upcoming MTN SWAMA Awards will be laughing all the way to the bank as they will each walk away with cash prize packages that range from E5 000 to E7500.

This was confirmed by the Chairman of the MTN SWAMA Awards Melusi ‘Zox’ Dlamini. Zox revealed that general category winners would be given E5 000 prize money while others that are ranked higher in prestige than the general ones would have a  E7 500 cash prize.

These are lucrative cash prize packages that have not been given to artists before, indicating that SWAMA in partnership with MTN is raising the bar higher.
It is a well established fact that many local artists are struggling  to make their careers financially worthy. So these cash prizes will go a long way in helping them with their craft.

 Entries for nomination are open to SWAMA members and non-SWAMA members alike. Entry is open in respect of any qualifying artist, director, producer or engineer, being a person who is a Swazi citizen or has been a permanent resident in Swaziland, for a minimum of five years from the date of entry.
