MBABANE – The is no forever for some music artists, and one of Swaziland’s celebrated Hip Hop trio’s ‘Prodigal Sonz’ have decided to call it quits.

Ten years of being in the music industry, and having recorded their last album, the hip hop group has decided to go their separate ways because they feel it is time that they make room for new aspiring Hip Hop artists.
Hit

The group which is made up of three members started in 2005 and have released hit singles such as ‘Ntfombi Sibili’ featuring C4 and they have performed on stages such as shows like the Fireworks, Ama 20 -20, MTN Bushfire and Hipnotik festival, said that they still friends and that the split was a mutual decision.

“Currently we have been working on our second album and will still be performing together, however, once the marketing  and hype of  the new  album is  over, we shall then call it a day,” confirmed  group member Ndumiso ‘Mimz’ Makhabane.

Supported

They said that they owe their gratitude and thanks to their fans that have supported them ever since they broke out into the industry, their families who have always supported their dreams and visions and not forgetting their friends who have been their cheer leaders from day one.
The album is set to be available for free download on their facebook page.
