MBABANE – It was a rather sad weekend for gospel artist Ncamiso Mavimbela.
The artist is currently sad after his vehicle, a  Toyota Jazz was stolen.

The vehicle worth E70 000 was allegedly stolen by one of his friends who borrowed it on Thursday morning.  He had promised to return it later but that never happened.

According to the artist who has since reported the matter to the police, on Thursday one of his friends borrowed the car claiming that there was an emergency he had to attend to. However, the friend did not return and has been unreachable on his mobile number .
Mavimbela hoped that the friend would return during the weekend but when that did not happen he became  suspicious as to the friend’s whereabouts.

By yesterday morning  the friend had not returned the car to him  something that prompted him to report  the matter to the police.

Investigating

Yesterday morning Mavimbela was found at the Mbabane Police Station where he had gone to meet the investigating officers.
“This is really disturbing me because it is the only car that I have. The sad thing is that I was helping the person who took it from me and I do not understand why he opted to steal it,” he said.

Mavuimbela said the police were handling the case and he was hoping that the car would be recovered soon.  He spent about an hour at the police station.

Police Information and Communications Officer Superintendent Khulani Mamba confirmed the matter, saying police were busy with the investigations.
