DUSTY AND STONES ONLY AFRICAN PERFORMERS AT USA AWARDS
MBABANE – Not only will they be hoisting the Swazi flag but Dusty and Stones will be the only African acts to perform at the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards this year.
This was confirmed by filming crew Rudoy Media LCC that was in the country last week to compile a documentary about the country duo, which will air in America.
They were in the kingdom to find out more about the country musicians who have been invited to perform at one of the biggest award shows that recognise leading country musicians all across the world.
Jesse Rudoy, who is the owner of Rudoy Media LLC, was in the country and also documented Dusty and Stones’ performance at the Swazi Rally, which was a true reflection of how celebrated the local country musicians are.
The Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards will host top country music artists from around the world at Jefferson, Texas to share their music and compete for the Texas Country Music Awards.
Fifteen or more nations will be taking part in these activities.
Country Music originated in America in South Texas and has spread across the world to become one of the most popular music genres.
On the other hand Dusty and Stones is a duo of cousins who hail from Mooihok Hlatikhulu, namely; Gazi ‘Dusty’ Simelane and Linda ‘Stones’ Msibi.
They are vocalists, guitarists and songwriters.
