STTP SPONSORS ‘IS POETRY THE NEW COMEDY’ SHOW
MBABANE – There is hope for the local entertainment industry as it is gaining momentum from corporate and organisations.
Swaziland Trusses and Timber Products (STTP) has come on board as a sponsor for the upcoming comedy and poetry show set for this Friday at the Molly’s House of Grills and Bar. STTP offers services in trusses, upholstery, joinery, couch manufacturers, and repairs, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen fittings and cutting edging services.
STTP saw the need to contribute to the development of comedy and poet by sponsoring its logistics costs as it has partnered with local comedians and poets in hosting this intriguing show titled “Is Poetry a New Comedy’.
“We take pride in supporting local talents as we have done it before with buying tickets to events and supporting sports such as cycling. We believe young people are the future and the arts industry is growing in Swaziland so as businesses we have to play a pivotal role in supporting such great initiatives,” said Mehluli Ndlovu, STTP General Manager.
Xolile Magagula the Director of Molly’s House of Grills and Bar said they were excited with STTP coming on board and we hope to see more partners and sponsors coming on board.
The comedy line-up will feature Dr Shakes ‘King of Hammer’, Mdura ‘The Witty evergreen one’ and Ndosh ‘a Natural Funny Manzinihood boy’ while the poets line-up will be the ‘Romantic Story teller’ Majaha, Zwelonke ‘Eloquent and Tongue Twister’ introducing the brilliant Njabu and of course Mangaliso Elfoe Masilela who is a natural host and a comic.
This was proved in his skills of hosting during the 3 Kings of Comedy Show two weeks ago where he became the 4th King of Comedy on the night.
