RUKKUS ROOM TO HOST DUSTY & STONES
MBABANE – Known to be the busiest studios in Nashville, The Rukkus Room will be where local country music duo Dusty & Stones will be recording.
Preceding their trip headed to Texas where they will be performing at the Texas Sounds International Country Music awards the duo have scooped themselves an opportunity to record a few songs in the same studio where American pop artist Taylor Swift made some of her hit singles. The Rukkus Room is a recording and rehearsal studio situated in Nashville, USA. It is known to be one of the busiest studios around and is known to have well known artists recording some of their hit singles there. Dusty& Stones had a chat with Robert Ellis Orrall who is one of the producers on Skype where they got to discuss their plans surrounding their offer to record and master their songs in their studios.
The duo will record their songs before attending the awards where they will be the only African act performing there.
The Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards will host top country music artists from around the world at Jefferson, Texas to share their music and compete for the Texas Country Music Awards. About 15 or more nations, including Swaziland who is represented by the country music duo, will be take part in the activities. Country music originated in the American South, Texas and has spread worldwide to become one of the most popular music genres in the world. Dusty & Stones is made up of cousins who hail from Mooihok Hlathikhulu , Gazi ‘Dusty’ Simelane and Linda ‘Stones’ Msibi both vocalists, guitarists and song writers.
