EMFULENI LIFESTYLE PACKS 500 HIP HOP LOVERS

MBABANE – Not even the poor sound stopped fun lovers from enjoying a Sunday of hip hop. 

The day started off steadily as hip hop lovers gathered together at the new hip and happening joint, Emfuleni Lifestyle in Ezulwini for the ‘Love Girls’ tour by South African Rap artist Reason. The show which was scheduled to start at 12 noon on Sunday ended up starting at around 5pm. The venue started filling up with revelers at 6.30pm, with many fun lovers choosing to be closer to the main stage, to get a closer view of the performances. Host Lindokuhle Mthupha, took to the stage to welcome fun lovers, and first to perform was celebrated hip hop DJ Master P. He kept the crowd entertained as he dished out old and new skool hip hop beats. The show was almost spoilt by sound glitches which the local acts complained about as well. The sound would now and again cut-off causing  echoes, but the artists soldiered on. Jumping in next was MTN SWAMA Awards hip hop winner 80 Script. His performance had  the crowd dancing and rhyming along, finally setting the tone for the night. Mozaik was introduced next, and he did not disappoint as most of the fun lovers would sing along to his lyrics.
