NCANDWENI CHRIST AMBASSADORS FOR GAWUZELA SHOW
MBABANE – The iconic Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors and Pastor Timothy Myeni are set to relive their legacy at the Gawuzela Crossover show.
These may come as a surprise to gospel music lovers as the stated artists, are related to ACASWA President Mzwakhe Myeni. Both Myeni and Gawuzela have been making headlines with every gospel music fan wanting to know which show will have the best artists come December 31. Ncandweni and Pastor T Myeni have been confirmed among the 18 artists who have revealed in the first batch of the Gawuzela Crossover show. It is also worth noting that ACASWA issued a ruling that artists should not appear in both posters or perform in both Siyewela Crossover hosted by ACASWA and Gaw’zela Crossover.
However, Umlilo Production and Events Management Director Mduduzi ‘Gawuzela’ Simelane said he will not comment on the controversy the two crossover shows have sparked, but will only pass gratitude to the artists who chose to perform in his show. “They did not choose to be with me but they chose to be with the Nation and this is solely a night of worship for the Kingdom of Swaziland,” he said. He also said that he is not intending on forcing any artist to make a decision under duress. “Artists can make the choice that they wish to. I do not mind if they attend another show but as long as they adhere to our agreement,” he said. Simelane also hinted that there will be South African artists will also be part of the line-up. “We will reveal all the details during the launch,” he said.
