MALKERNS – Immaculate sound, perfect lighting and great  performances echoed the iconic House on fire amphitheatre.

Yet gain, Sibebe Friday Night Live’s (SFNL) Valentine’s Day edition, also dubbed ‘Traffic Lights Party proved that Swazi artists are becoming internationally qualified musicians with the ‘out of this world’ performances which were backed up by organic sounds served by live bands.

The show, which was the first edition of the year, was held last  Friday at House on Fire and headlining acts were Afro soul sensation Mr Music, Swaziland’s very own sassy Mandisa Mamba and Hip Hop DJ Supa CDQ.

The three artists who are competing to make it onto the MTN BUSHFIRE Festival 2018  stage, equally thrilled the over 400 fun lovers who had attended the show.
It was interesting to note that all three received great reception from the audience but in different ways, as they performed in different genres.

Mr Music, who was the first artist to perform, majestically took to the stage at 9.45pm and the first song that he performed was ‘Baby You Got That Thing’.
He managed to grab the attention of many from the very first line that he uttered. As his soulful voice and rendition filled the amphitheatre, the crowd flocked to the dance floor and danced to his tunes.

Not only did Mr Music prove to be musically gifted but he was also educational when he sang his ‘Use A Condom’ song.
Mr Music was followed by Swaziland’s own Rihanna, Mandisa Mamba whose presence demanded attention from the time she jumped on stage.
Her sequinned short sexy outfit fused well with the lighting effect, so all eyes were on her.

The live band  gave her a grand entrance, as they played a high tempo instrumental.
The revellers eyes were glued on her, not only because of the superb music that she sang but because of her sexy dance moves, a trademark which she has created for herself.
