MBABANE – The Place is calling for jazz music lovers yet again! The home of jazz in Manzini, The Place, is hosting South African jazz musician Tlale Makhene and afro soul sensation Max-Hoba who is also known as Travelingman.

Tlale Makhene needs no introduction to the Swazi crowd as he has once performed at the MTN BUSHFIRE and at the home of art in Mbabane, Bahle Gallery. However, it will be the first time for Max-Hoba to perform in the country.

The show is hosted by a South African entity known as Music Society and Legendary Events. The show is dubbed ‘Swazi Gold’. Not only will the two artists be showcasing their talent but they will be selling their CDs.

Max-Hoba confirmed his performance in an exclusive interview with this publication and he stated that he was excited to be performing in the country for the first time.
“Generally, Swaziland is always a welcoming place because of its spirituality and the warmth of its people.

“I will be bringing a set that is inspired by what is going on in the world and a level of healing to many troubled souls through music. Happiness shall be the end result of our engagement with the people,” said Max-Hoba.

Music Society and Legendary Events’ Athi Petela said the duo was ready to rock Swazi music lovers as they had been preparing for weeks for  the ‘Swazi Gold’.
Entrance fee is E80 and the show starts at 7pm.
