BLACK MOTION, DISTRUCTION BOYZ FOR SD
MBABANE – The cold and dreary winter days ahead might just be a rumour for fun lovers!
The popular event known as ‘Spirit Motion Invasion’ is yet again bringing South African house music duo Black Motion and ‘Gqom’ kings Distruction Boyz into the country on June2.
The venue is to be announced.
This information was released and confirmed by Spirit Motion’s PRO Tshidi Lepido.
‘Spirit Motion Invasion’ is a tour by South Africa’s Spirit Motion’s artists, including the ‘Imali’ hit makers, Black Motion. The inaugural ‘Spirit Motion Invasion’ was last year May where it brought Black Motion, Miss P, Brandon, Major Leagues and Nokwazi.
Lepido stated that Spirit Motion is planning on making this show an annual event and eventually, a festival.
“The aim is to set-up an office in Swaziland where we will have partners and probably recruit artists, reinvesting in the country,” said Lepido.
She also said Black Motion will be guaranteed artists who will be headlining ‘Spirit Motion Invasion’ shows in Swaziland. The duo will be launching their upcoming song titled ‘Anyway’ on the day.
Lepido added the duo will host a Press Conference on June 1 to educate and engage Swazi journalists, artists and fans.
More artists from Spirit Motion are to be added to the line-up in time.
Distruction Boyz, however, are coming independen solo artists who are not signed under Spirit Motion. It will be second time for the ‘Omunye’ hit makers to be performing in the country; their first time was in January this year at Timbali Lodge in Ezulwini.
Lepido also said Spirit Motion will give a slot to Swazi artists and DJs on the night if they are to perform as a duo.
