DJ MASTER P COMPLETES ‘THE AWAKENING’ LINE-UP

MBABANE – Siteki will get a chance of experiencing why DJ Master P has been considered as one of the best hip hop DJs to ever to come out of Swaziland.  


The ‘Phenomenal Part’ hit maker, DJ Master P, real name Phinda Dlamini, is headed to Siteki where he has been added to ‘The Awakening Party’ line-up which is set to take place at Siteki Hotel on March 31.


DJ Master P has adopted a formula which has helped establish his already existing and fast growing following.
He delicately delivers a winning selection of the hottest new clubbing hip hop hits spiced with some classics and a crafty manipulation of tracks on the decks.


The chief organiser of the event, Speech Umlangeni, expressed his excitement at adding Master P to the event’s line-up.
“It is with great honour that I announce that we have added the ‘King of Hip Hop’ mixes to our first edition of The Awakening Show.

We felt it was only right to rope in someone who will cater music for the cool ladies and hip hop fans at large. Master P was crowned DJ of the Year at the MTN SWAMA Awards last year, so its sure case our audience will have a great time,” said Speech.


Master P also confirmed that he will be at the show and promised fans the best of his sets.
“I’m very excited to be playing in Siteki after a long time and being part of this history making event. My fans should expect the cream of their favourite hip hop tracks from around the world, I will also use some of my songs including ‘Miss Behave’, ‘Winners Circle’, ‘Phenomenal Party’ and a couple of local tracks,” elaborated Master P.


The DJ will be joining a tight line up of DJs and artists including Dj Njebza, DJ Fantacy VS Lil D (2.0), Ziyawa KaZitha, DJ Mazwelani, Speech Umlangeni, Soul Toniq, Deep Motion, DJCharm , Skhubash, Dj Atomic, Reke Da Boom, Dj Mfundo, NiNi Mhlanga and DJ Freestyle. The MC on the night will be MTN Bushfire Firefly stage Nelly “Lady Deep” Maseko.


The event is scheduled to start at 3pm until the early hours of the next morning. Entrance  fee costs  E50  at the gate and there won’t be any pre-sale or VIP tickets sold.
