GET HIV TESTED - FOR FREE NDUDUZO TICKETS
MBABANE – Get tested, know your status and enjoy Nduduzo Matse’s show for free.
This offer is only directed to men who will undergo an HIV test.
The gospel artist who will be recording his live DVD on April 21 at the Metropolitan Church in Manzini, has since partnered with the Alliance of Mayors Initiative on HIV/AIDS at Local Level (AMICAALL) in encouraging men to know their status.
This partnership is themed ‘Gelekece’ campaign and its main intention is to encourage all men to know their status.
The theme is taken from Matse’s hit song titled ‘Gelekece’. It is the same song which saw Matse winning the Crown Gospel Awards Best of Africa Award.
The partnership will be launched on Saturday at Malkerns. On this day, Matse will stage a free for all performance, also giving away tickets to those men who will undergo the HIV test.
Although the number of tickets to be given to the men has not been specified, all men who will undergo the test have been assured of the tickets.
Each ticket cost E150 (general) and E300 (VIP).
“We want all men to lead by example. One of these ways is for them to know their status,” said AMICAALL Director Benedict Xaba.
He said the campaign was themed through Matse’s songs and it was another reason that made them to partner with him.
“During the launch, we will be giving away fabulous prizes including the tickets to all those who will test. This is to encourage men to consider knowing their status,” he said.
He encouraged music lovers especially men, not to miss the launch as they will definitly go back home happy.
“We are aware that there will be a number of artists and among them is South African gospel star Benjamin Dube. We want most men to attend the show and one of the ways would be to undergo the test,” he said.
