MANZINI – Some gospel music lovers had to leave without watching the night’s highlight performance.

South African gospel group Woman In Praise had to be watched by less people after some of them left the venue. This was because of the sound technical problems that almost spoilt the ‘Worship Encounter 2’ show. The show organised by Leserato Events was held at the Metropolitan Church. Woman In Praise consists of four women who have since become a hit in South Africa. Most people who attended the show wanted to see the group performing some of its latest songs. Among other songs that the fans wanted to see the group performing was the one titled, ‘Ngiyamazi’ which is in the group’s latest CD. The sound technical issues started just from the beginning of the show resulting to some of the artists who performed before Woman In Praise not having a field day on the stage.

Among the artists who performed are South African artists Denzel Erusmus, Tsolo and Gabriel. While they were all energetic on stage, their performance was not a smooth one because of the sound technical problems. The engineers tried by all means to sort out the problem something that was not easy for them. Just when Women In Praise was about to take the stage, there was a sound cut. The sound cut resulted to the show having to stop while engineers try to restore the power. While still trying to restore the power, some gospel music lovers left disappointed. Others felt the sound system was poor and they could not wait any longer as the Woman In Praise performance would not be what they expected to see. It took about 30 minutes for the engineers to be able to restore the power.

By then a number of the music lovers had already left the venue with disappointment. Soon after the power was restored, Woman In Praise took the stage. The ladies did not disappoint as they gave a performance that left all those who watched it wanting more. The group performed for an hour leaving gospel music lovers enjoying every moment of the show. Among songs the group performed is the famous ‘Ngiyamazi’, ‘Moya’, ‘Nothing Can Separate’, and ‘Jehova Silithetha’. By the time the group went off stage, the music lovers still wanted more. Woman In Praise promised to return for yet another amazing show. The show lasted until 1am with music lovers still wanting more from the artists performing.
