‘JIKA’ TO DEBUT ON MTV BASE TOMORROW

MBABANE – Big platforms for big songs! After making great strides and making it to the number one spot on   BBC Xtra  Music Charts, being selected as the runway music for the 2018  Mercedes Fashion Week Russia, the highly anticipated ‘Jika’ video is set to debut on MTV Base tomorrow. The debut will air  between 7am and 11 am and repeated again between 4pm and 11pm.

The ‘Jika’  music video is a track by  three talented locals, DJ and music producer Tendeness in collaboration with Bholoja and LO. It will be debuted in a programme known as MTV #SpankingNew in their exclusive edition.
The video was shot in South Africa, Johannesburg and all the artists in the song were present. Also present in the video is socialite and MC Bianca Coster.

This is not the first time for the song to make international strides. Two months ago, it made it to the Mercedes Benz Russia Fashion Week song for the runway session.

Also, it was used as a song in the Delush Wine advert. Delush Wine is a winery company in South Africa which sells over 50 types of wines and is internationally recognised.

Tendaness’ management team member Sibusiso Simelane confirmed that the video would debut tomorrow. Simelane said what motivated the video to be shot in Johannesburg was that the story line needed that dense urban city background.
