‘MIDNIGHT STARRING’ CELEBRATES WOMEN IN DANCE!
MBABANE – ‘Yeyi’. If you’re a fan of South African artist Busiswa, you will definitely know that once she screams the word ‘yeyi’ the show is about to get interesting.
The ‘Midnight Starring’ artist and poet, Busiswa Ggulu, made her fans’ dreams come true when she performed at Solani’s Shisanyama in Msunduza, Mbabane on Friday night, during a show dubbed ‘Womandla’ in celebration of women.
Despite the weather, Busiswa, who was the headlining act at the show, impressed the audience who braved the chilly weather to attend the event.
More than 1 000 people who attended the show were taken on a real treat when the songbird performed most of her hit songs such as ‘Gobisicolo,’ ‘Lahla,’ ‘Ingqondo’ ‘midnight starring’ and ‘Ngoku,’ leaving the crowd wanting more.
In her full black outfit, Busiswa did not disappoint as she kept introducing new dancing styles to the audience, who were also dancing and singing along.
As fans waited for the headlining act to get to the venue, local artists such as NQ, Lomasoul and DJs LadyNez, Zoe, Lolo, Lady Cream, Lindelwa Mafa and Silky Touch kept the party alive with some amazing performances.
NQ, mainly known for breaking the stage with their dancing styles and rhymes, introduced her new songs, turning the entire crowd on fire.
Lomasoul also did not disappoint by performing her hit new single and signed off with her most loved song ‘Be Without You.’
South Afrcan female artist, Miss P was also the talk of the night, performing her hit song ‘It’s You’. Not to forget the performances by DJ Zoe and Lindelwa Mafa, who turned the stadium into a dancing vibe when they took over the turntables. The theme of the show was all white and doek in celebrating women.
