MBABANE – The Nothando Hlophe vibe is back with a bang. This, as her newly-released music video has amassed over 30 000 views on YouTube within 48 hours of release on the platform.

‘Yebo’ is the title of the new single released ahead of the release of her new album titled ‘Nothando Hlophe LIVE in Soweto’. This was confirmed by Leserato Events’ Sphiwe Nxumalo.

Distribution

The video was recorded live at Soweto Theatre this April and will be released under Spirit Tunes, which is a Spirit Music Group platform, a company that will be handling the licensing and distribution of the album in the Republic of South Africa.

“We are excited about the reception the song is getting already and we are encouraged. It is an amazing and impactful song, and the production is world class. People can purchase the single on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and Amazon, until the full album is released.

The full album will be ready in December and all those who bought tickets for the launch will receive their free copies as soon as it arrives, as promised,” Nxumalo said.

Religiously

Her supporter and gospel music follower, Andile Dlamini, who has religiously attended the artist’s shows, said he was also excited about the new song and its video.
“The song is great; she was on top of her game when she sang it. When I saw the video I saw so much growth in her. I am proud to be her fan,” he said.   The songstress, affectionately known as ‘Khululugcobo’, from her leading hit song from Women in Praise and Spirit of Praise volume 6 LIVE recordings, brought her mellifluous sounds to the Soweto Theatre for her first ever live DVD recording.
