MBABANE – A new opportunity to grow the gospel fraternity in the country has availed itself.  Thulani Ntshangase, founder of the ‘The Gospel Stage’ project, will be giving away E80 000 that will go towards contracts for a choir competition.
The competition will have three categories which are, The Amadodana, Charismatic and Zion categories. Ntshangase said the aim of the competition was to discover talent and promote the gospel industry.

“We are giving a platform to untapped talent, as well as exposing them and helping the underprivileged. I also believe that the kingdom is a home of talent, which is waiting for someone to discover it,” he said.
The project is supported by High Way FM, a radio station based in South Africa, while they are inviting other entities to come forth.

“We are still inviting other entities to come on board as we have approached the likes of Eswatini TV, Channel Yemaswati and DStv,” he said.

Talented

The panel of judges will have one of the talented experts from South Africa Ayanda Manyokole, Londiwe Nxumalo and the well-known gospel artist Andile Ka- Majola.
“Local adjudicators will not be mentioned for now, but they will come from local media houses, as well as from the gospel music circle,” Ntshangase said.
The grand finale winners from the three categories will join the main acts at Esibayeni Lodge.

More information on entry forms will be announced soon as they will be available around the kingdom at designated outlets.
