MBABANE – EmaSwati are shining in South Africa! Iconic Eswatini gospel music crew Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved Group stole the show at the Crown Gospel Awards this past Saturday at the ICC in Durban, South Africa in the leadership of Reverend Elias Shongwe.

He was in the same set with South Africa’s Dr Tumi, who opened the set with his hit ‘Wafika’.
Dance
As soon as Shongwe’s trademark beats started, everyone got on their feet and it was all about dance throughout.
Shongwe sang one of the crowd favourites, ‘Njengendluzela’ and had whole ICC singing along.

Also, Nothando Hlophe made a fashion statement with her ravishing silver dress.
However, no liSwati artist scooped an award this time around.

‘Ehhe Moya Wam’ hit makers, Abathandwa, who are slated for Eswatini for the whole of next week, promised to bring their best to the country, even promising to teach emaSwati ‘Indibala’ dance, where people roll on the floor.

Famous

Abathandwa Gospel Group brought fire at ICC over the weekend when they did the now famous Indibala Dance routine.
The group made it clear after the awards that their local fans should get ready as they will be bringing their best dance moves.

They were nominated for Best Gospel Accappela Group, Best Video, Song of the Year and Best Gospel Group and they won Best Video and Most Downloaded Gospel Song.
