MBABANE – Four spinners rose above set boundaries and gifted fun lovers with a night to remember last Friday night.

This, as the groovy crowd which crammed Solani’s Shisanyama saw the likes of DJ MBO, Ayacity, Dope Deep and Supa CDQ showing their class by performing beyond the one hour they normally take behind the decks.
Each of these DJs delivered an explosive set that lasted for a little above two hours and they seemed raring to go. The crowd responded well as they remained on the dance floor with wild but sleek dance moves being dominant. A casual night was turned into a night of dance and appreciation of music as DJ MBO took the crowd down memory lane with a clever selection of old skool tunes mixed with the latest hits.

The spinner was at his element as he started his set with soulful house with a hint of RnB and pop music. He climbed onto the stage at 11am and within an hour of his set, the spinner and producer switched up the tempo as he dished out the best of gqom music. His set was so good that it had to draw some of the house music lovers onto the stage. Next to him, others jumped to the stage simply to give him a thumbs-up. He appreciated the love with smiles and continued to showcase his skills behind the decks.
Before him, Ayacity had already got the crowd sweating and put up his hand as the next big thing in the music industry.  With gqom music being the focal point, the arrival of Dope Deep brought diversity as the talented spinner dished out a set filled with deep house tunes with an element of electro. As if to show his class, he also infused gqom with a hint of commercial house tunes.

The night of dancing and celebration was completed by none other than Supa CDQ, with nothing but the best of hip hop music.
“I appreciated the love from the fans and I always seek to give out the best whenever I am on stage,” MBO said.
Titi Phiri, a fun lover, said her best moment was when DJ MBO infused timeless RnB hits to his house music mix. “He really made sure we remained on the dance floor. Even when the rain poured down, we kept on dancing because his set was great,” she said.

Ayacity, on the other hand, said he would continue working hard and put the people first.
“This is not about me but the people I play for, I need to give them the best,” he said.
