‘MIRACLES ARE POSSIBLE BUT ...’
MBABANE - “Miracles are possible!” The latter stance was taken by pastors and church leaders who were interviewed by this publication in relation to the man who was allegedly brought back to life in Johannesburg, South Africa on Sunday.
According to TimesLive, a man, known as Elliot, was allegedly brought back to life by Pastor Alph Lukau from Alleluia Ministries. These allegations were backed up by a video which showed the man dressed in white clothes and had white gloves on rise from a coffin with his mouth wide open.
Local pastors said miracles were possible as God’s powers have not and cannot be negated.
However, they also highlighted that the Bible states that during end days, false prophets and miracles would be performed. In saying this, the local pastors stressed that this did not mean that Lukau’s miracle was fake.
Mbabane Alliance Church Reader Reverend Johannes V. Mazibuko, stated that it was painful to observe that miracles were being performed in an unprecedented fashion such that it put the church’s name into disrepute.
“The Bible states that there will be a rise of false miracles but this does not mean that God’s powers would be refuted. God is still on the throne and He can still heal the sick and conduct the business of rising people from the dead,” said Mazibuko.
However, Mazibuko warned people, saying they should know church leaders and observe how they conduct their business.

Yonder Worship Centre leader Apostle Pastor Bakhe Dlamini, affirmed Mazibuko’s stance, stating that God can heal.
“If this is a staged miracle, then this is disturbing. The law has to take its course as the image of the church is tainted.
“It would not be right to take a stance on if it is a fake or real miracle,” he said.
