SHONGWE AND KHUPHUKA STEALS SHOW AT DIVINE!
MBABANE – Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved group is the real deal! The popular gospel outfit proved why they are regarded as the biggest gospel group in the country with a colourful performance that pulled the crowd off its seats and drew them closer to the stage.
It was as if a celebrated international musician had hit the building as the Divine Healing Ministries was suddenly filled with cheers, dance and loud sing-alongs.
Besides being the most popular on the night, the legendary gospel group presented a marathon show that left the audience sweating it out on the floor.
Founder and lead singer Reverend Elias Shongwe also unleashed his happy feet side as he danced up a storm on stage and sent the gospel music lovers into frenzy.

Shongwe and Khuphuka climbed on stage soon after a sterling performance by South African artist Keke Phoofolo and got the crowd on its feet with hit songs including ‘Esandleni somusa’, ‘Amazulu’, ‘Egameni’ and ‘Jika jika’.
The group delivered the best performance of the night and when they announced the end of their rendition, the crowd tried to convince them to render more songs, however, time was not on their side.
“I am humbled to be received like this by my own people. We are truly grateful for the love and support shown to us. We also thank Bishop Nash for inviting us, it was an honour performing at his event,” Shongwe said.

“They were simply amazing. I loved every moment of their performance. What they delivered on stage was just thrilling,” the woman from Manzini said.
Gospel artists Sphiwo Ndlangamandla and Bhelekazi Shabangu also said they could not get enough of Shongwe and Khuphuka’s exhilarating performance.
The keyboardist, Enock Shongwe, also left gospel music lovers astonished with his skills behind the keyboard.
