ESWATINI GOSPEL TALENT SEARCH TAKES-OFF!
MBABANE - All is not lost if for those who wish to be a gospel music super stars!
Hopeful gospel musicians have been presented with a chance of a life-time by the new Eswatini Gospel Talent search which has taken-off.
The existence of this new competition was revealed to this publication yesterday and it is yet to be formally launched.
The search for talented musicians will commence on July 27 and it will rotate in all the four regions of the country (Hhohho, Manzini, Shiselweni and Lubombo).

Founder of Eswatini Gospel Talent Search Thulani Mthethwa confirmed the dates, stating that the competition was open to people of all ages.
“Our goal as Eswatini Gospel Talent Search is to unearth, nurture and promote local gospel music talent,” said Mthethwa.
The competition is expected to run until November where finals will be hosted.
“We are hoping to air the talent search from day one on TV and this will be made possible by sponsors who can support this Eswatini owned initiative,” he said.
The ultimate winner of the talent search will be awarded with a recording deal and cash prize which is still tentative.
Also, the runners-up will also receive cash prizes.
“All will be revealed during the launch,” he said.
The brains behind the competition, Mthethwa, is not new to the gospel fraternity as he was once nominated at the South Africa Crown Gospel Awards 2013 under the ‘Program Presenter and Producer’ category for his show known as ‘Phila Ng’phile’ on VOC.
VOC is the country’s Christian radio station.
