MBABANE - They are not only entertainers but people with a heart of gold.

The 2019 Spin Revolution held at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre was a huge success as hundreds of people came to support the show. This event was aimed at raising funds for the needy with the support of Tops at Spar, who donated a sum of E35 000 and Legit clothing store gave away clothes worth E5 000.  The show was scheduled to start at 2pm and fun lovers were already packed in the arena, waiting for the show to begin. All the teams kept engine lovers on the edge of their seats and blowing whistles as they were performing their stunts. One of the teams that was loved by the crowd was Team Swazi, who did breathtaking and awesome stunts.

Entertained

The teams kept fun lovers entertained, as there was one team that performed one of the coolest stunts, whereby the driver got out of the car and danced while the car was spinning on its own.  As if that was not enough, a 13-year-old boy, who was also part of the teams, gave an outstanding performance. After the spinning session, the night was still young to fun lovers as they turned up like never before.  The show had a crazy line-up with  1D, KB Da DJ, Scientist, Kangaroo, Duncan and Fantacy to name a few.  Judging by the killer dance moves that were showcased by the fun lovers, they had a good time.

Concept

During an interview with the woman behind the whole concept of helping the needy, Phetsile Masilela, she said helping the needy had always been in their hearts. She also thanked all the sponsors that made the event a success. “We were not expecting to get such a turnout and we are grateful to all the sponsors who supported,” she said.  She also added that they would be having the very same event next year, which will be bigger and better.  Jonathan Moyo, from Tops at Spar, said they were honoured to be part of such an inspirational event and they hope they will continue as it also one of their main aim to give back to the community.  “This is our first time venturing to such, but we are excited and looking forward to work with the spinning teams,” he said.
