Sustainable
“Everyone can go green during the festival, it is our role to ensure that we learn more in terms of sustainable clothing options,” she said.
Tshepiso also shared some of the few clothing items and ideas one can wear on the day. It included the hemp fabric commonly known in the market, which can be used for sweat-shirts, hemp denim and cardigans to name a few.
“Hemp is not the only recyclable clothing but there is also linen, organic cotton and soy silk to name a few. Festival goers can still show up looking fashionable at the same time saving the environment,” she said.
Alternatives
This festival, we will only work with event suppliers that offer green alternatives, everything that can be recycled at the event will be recycled, event signs will all be designed with reuse in mind, all Green Lifestyle collateral will be made with recyclable materials.
