RASMOOLAH FOR MALI
MBABANE – Mali is calling for Rasmoolah’s talents! Local reggae artist and former SWAMA additional member to the committee, Rasmoolah has been called upon by music promoters in Mali for a festival. This is the 15th edition of Festival Sur Le Niger in Mali which is slated for February.
This will be the second time for the artist to attend the show. He attended and performed last year in February.
The artist has been getting this opportunity through Arterial Network, a non-profit making organisation which is a home to many artists globally. Also, this opportunity was opened by the SWAMA Awards.
Rasmoolah confirmed this, and said his dates of leaving would be confirmed in October 2019.
“I have also been scheduled to meet with organisers of the MASA Festival in Ivory Coast. I have been told that I will have to do collaborations with artists from West Africa in my stay at Ivory Coast,” explained the reggae artist.
He also revealed that his biggest meeting will be with Limama Monza, an internationally renowned music promoter and producer from Mauritius.
“Monza is also the organiser of the Salaam Festival,” said Rasmoolah.
“I have my ticket now and all I am awaiting for is a Visa, which is still being processed by Arterial Network. Also, I plead for financial assistance from the country as I am representing Eswatini as well,” he said.
