EZULWINI - Art in motion.

This is the best way to describe the SEMISCON Vocal band that was performing during the Taiwan Vocal and Acrobatic Feast that took place at the Royal Swazi Convention Centre Auditorium in Ezulwini. The event was organised by the Eswatini Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce. The auditorium was packed to the rafters as throngs of people came to witness the event. On stage was the impressive SEMISCON A cappella vocal band accompanied by Tun-Yi Chao, who is a cube juggling performer and Shih-Hao Yang, who specialises in cyr wheel and hat juggling. A cappella is music that is sung without the use of any musical instruments.

To kick the show off the SEMISCON Vocal band delivered a moving rendition of a song titled ‘Ri Muy Sola Ri Muy Yo’, in the middle of the performance they were joined by Tun-Yi Chao, who displayed mind blowing cube juggling stunts that left some members of the crowd in awe. The crowd sang along during the rendition of one of the most popular African songs titled ‘The lion sleeps tonight.’

During the show, the band displayed their wide range of vocal ability and they combined their vocals with perfectly choreographed dance moves that kept the audience glued to the stage.
Shih-Hao Yang dazzled the crowd with his cyr wheel juggling skills and his performance was met with a round of applause from the audience. To close off the show the band thanked everyone for coming and they delivered an emotional rendition of ‘Heart beat of Taiwan’ which is a prayer for the country.
