MBABANE - Eswatini Tourism Authority is set on significantly placing the country on the map!

They have proven this by inviting the ongoing show ‘Presenter Search on 3’ to the country for the Kingdom of Eswatini experience. Not only have they just invited the crew but they did so so that they can shoot about two episodes of the on-going talent search.
‘Presenter Search on 3’ is an Expresso edition of searching presenters. The search for SABC 3’s new feel-good breakfast show, Expresso, presenter has been narrowed down to 10 hopefuls and is coming to narrow them down in the country.

As part of the marketing activities plan for this year, the Eswatini Tourism Authority will be hosting ‘Presenter Search on 3’ contestants, judges, host and entire film crew to film two episodes in the beautiful Kingdom in one solid week.

This was confirmed by ETA CEO Linda Nxumalo who said the search for SABC 3 feel good Expresso show has been narrowed down to 6 contestants who will be in the Kingdom to compete in various challenges including hosting inserts and segments for the reality show.

Presenter Search on 3 is watched by over a million viewers where contestants vie for the coveted presenter spot of the award winning Expresso Show.
The series started on the August 7 and will culminate to a live grand finale on October 30. The two episodes which will be filmed in Eswatini will be viewed on October 16 and 23 on SABC 3 at 7.30am.

The targeted audience is South African affluent English speaking community aged between 18 to 49.
Amongst those expected to be in the kingdom are Judges Thando Thabethe, Dr Musa Mthombeni, Roger Goode and Leigh Anne Williams.
Where they will be filming and when remains classified as we hope to ensure seamless shooting at all scenes.

When asked how the show landed in Eswatini, Nxumalo said they presented the beautiful Kingdom to them as an option for their locations and activities.
“They loved what we were saying and made a decision to come.

Huge

“The TV industry is huge for us in Tourism as most Travel Decisions are influenced using the visual means,” said Nxumalo.
She also said this was part of their on-going strategy to be more visible to our immediate and fastest growing source market South Africa. We feel our stories should be told by those that experience our warmth first hand and that way we also create ambassadors who talk about their experiences in the Kingdom and in turn influence others to visit Eswatini,” she said.
The SABC crew and contestants landed in the country yesterday.
