MTN IPRAISE AIRS ON ONE GOSPEL
MBABANE- Eswatini is increasingly becoming a dream destination. Yet another music festival hosted in the country has been viewed by millions around the world.
This time around, Eswatini was trending last week because of the inaugural MTN iPraise Gospel Music Festival which was hosted in August.
The show, which was hosted at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre, attracted big names in the gospel music industry including Nigeria’s Tim Godfrey, South Africa’s Dr Tumi, Joyous Celebrations SbuNoah Mthembu, Eswatini’s Nduduzo Matse and other big names in the local gospel music fraternity.
Festival
The festival aired in a show called ‘Out and About’ which is hosted by the beautiful Millecent Mashile. It was aired last Wednesday at 5pm and was repeated last Thursday and Sunday.
The host, Mashile, interviewed the participating artists and showcased the performances during the festival.
She also made a beautiful review of Eswatini as a country because the presenters travelled while around.
Nathi Gule, who was part of the organising committee, said they were happy that Eswatini was placed on the map because of the MTN iPraise Gospel Music Festival. “We are excited that One Gospel came through to record the show because it allowed for an opportunity to showcase the best of Eswatini to the rest of the region.
The programme was very well produced and depicts Eswatini as a must visit destination for its arts, culture and scenic views,” said Nathi Gule.
