MALKERNS – A heavenly sent crossover! Fun lovers were treated to a mind blowing and fun crossover into the year 2020 as a stellar line-up infused with the best of Eswatini musicians and DJs as well as South African band Micasa.

The crowd that attended the event was mostly teenagers, who were chaperoned by their parents as well as young adults.
The fun lovers came ready to have a good time as they started packing the arena at around 9pm donning colourful hairstyles and clothing.
Organisers of the show made sure they catered to every aspect that makes an event successful.

There was a wide choice of delectable treats within the food stalls that were set up a short distance from the marquee that had been set up to cater for forecasted rain.
The show started off with performances from Lomasoul, who rendered a soulful session of music that got the crowds warmed up for the main act.

Electrified

She was followed by Miss Trophy who delivered a stunning electrified performance of only the best of her hit songs from her album released late in 2019.
The songs included Ngikutsandzile, Sitsandvwa Sami, Liphopho Lami and Sukuma Sambe. The perfomance was a mixture of collaborations she has had with other female local artists.

While the fun lovers waited for the clock to strike midnight, Toxic climbed the stage just in time to usher the crowds into the new year with a 10 minutes set of songs that made the last quarter of 2019 fun.

It may have been evident that the song choice to mark the crossover into the new year was a tough pick between Jerusalem and Labantwana Ama Uber as he teased the crowds that it may be one of the two, however the latter made the mark much to excitement shown by the crowd.

He immediately made the switch after the crowd screamed Happy New Year taking us back in time with crossover songs from the late 2000s.
