MBABANE – Thanks to the coronavirus outbreak, people are breaking out of their shells to create engaging and relatable challenges against time.

In what seemed as a ‘Then and Now’ challenge for people to show off their physical transformations, a graphite artist saw the opportunity to share his evolved skill.

Passion

Lwazi Tsela from Mafutseni revealed to the Entertainment Desk that since 2015, he practised the art, which is his passion, for fun.
He is a self-taught artist who used the internet to conduct researches on drawing techniques and it is how he evolved.
The 27-year-old artist said he believed that art was a constantly evolving hobby which required one to carry on practising.

Competitions

He said he hoped to participate in international competitions worldwide, hoisting the Eswatini flag high.
He revealed that he looks back to his old work and it amuses him how much he has grown with it.
He has done portraits of other popular Eswatini artists such as Mr Kangaroo.
