The 54 minutes live show attracted over 1 900 live viewers.

Based on reactions and comments from Facebook, viewers were thrilled by her performance.

From the comments, one could tell that people fell in love with some of the songs  namely ‘Ngaphiliswa’ and ‘Ngipholise’,  which was a twisted rendition originally by the late gospel artist Sfiso Ncwane.

In an interview, Makhubu explained her love for worship.

She told the Entertainment Desk that her love for music started at an early age.  She said she came into the music industry in 2015 and in 2016 she was featured by one of the gospel award-winning artists, Nduduzo Matse on his album titled ‘Yomile Inhliziyo Yami’.

Currently, she has one album titled ‘His Ways’ which was recorded live at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.

“I never expected such a high number of viewership, we praise God for that.” she said.

Speaking on the theme, ‘Bethesda Healing Experience,’ Makhubu said, she had been a victim of unexpected pain, disappointment and sudden loss. The show was meant to heal and comfort the broken.

“I thought of issues that people are silently suffering from, matters that make them cry to sleep without anyone’s knowledge. I thought what better time to address those wounds and plead for God’s healing. I felt that if there’s a time the world needs healing it was now. From the pandemic people have lost jobs and associating with our loved ones has come to a halt. The new normal itself came with an unusual painful experience,” she said.

Makhubu went on to express her gratitude to her supporters and Evolve Studios.

“The whole team did an amazing job and I am looking forward to hosting more virtual shows,” she said.
